Mary Ellen Jones, 54 of Indianapolis, died February 14, 2009.Ellie was born June 9 1955 in Indianapolis to the late Roy A. Green and Willa M. Green.She attended Arsenal Tech High School and also attended Ivy Tech Community College. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Arlington Heights Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. Baptized July 4, 1975 she was faithfully devoted witness of 34 years. She was employed at Chrysler Motor Corporation, and she was President of MJ Connections Travel, Tour and Entertainment Company. She also promoted cancer awareness events.Surviving are five children: Kevin Holman Jr, Aaron Holman, Justin Holman, Gary Holman and Erika Holman; also 5 grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Jill Green, Ann Banks, Jacquelyn Jackson; and brothers James Howard and Charles Howard. Funeral will be held at Harry W. Moore Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, on Fri, Feb 20, 2009 at 1:00 pm with visitation from 11-1. She will be laid to rest at Sutherland Park Cemetery.

    She helped us with our wedding. We enjoyed her laugh and personality. We’re glad to have met her. She always called me her buddy. We loved her very much & we look forward to seeing her when there is no more sickness and death.

    To the family of my sister, dear friend, Ellie as I called her all of our life. I will miss her terribly. Yet we all know that Jehovah knows and hears all.     I met Mary while working with her at Chrysler. Mary was such a beautiful person, she and I would spend alot of time talking together. Mary would always talk to me about her family, at that time she was working on the wedding of her son, and she was excited about that. I knew her for only a short time but she made an enormous impact on my life. I send my condolences to her family and I wanted you to know that I really appreciated having Mary as my friend. Sheila K.
